Hasegawa Mahina (長谷川マヒナ) is a Hawaiian Japanese singer under 2xWings as a 3rd generation member of Uta Shoujo, a member of the sub-unit Puri♡Kuri, and a former 2nd generation member of Kenshuusei.
She joined 2xWings on April 23, 2016, as a 2nd gen KSS member. On January 1, 2017, she was promoted to Uta Shoujo as their sole 3rd generation member.
Biography
Early Life
Mahina was born on April 22nd, 2001 in Kaliua, Hawaii.
2015
Mahina briefly appeared in DVD volumes working with her parents behind the scenes. She was later dubbed an honorary 2xWings member by fans.
2016
On April 23rd Mahina joined the Kenshuusei alongside Zhao Mingyu. She said her dad encouraged her to join as a means of extracurricular activity, also mentioning how she already had a following from appearing the DVD volumes.
2017
On January 1st, Mahina was promoted as a surprise 3rd gen member for Uta Shoujo at 2xWing's new year concert. On the same day, she joined sub-unit Puri♡Kuri.
Personal Life
Mahina has an older brother. Both of her parents work for 2xWings as photographers.
As of 2020, Mahina is attending her 3rd year in high school.
- Okuda Riho: They are often noted to have a contrast in personalities, yet are also rather close.
- Saotome Natsumi: The two are known to practice together, with Natsumi being Mahina's mentor during her debut process and onward.
- Tae-hyun: They got close when their sub-unit MYWAY was created. She considers him her best-friend.
